EXPERIENCE: Intermediate.

MATERIALS: The model shown in the photograph is crocheted in “Article 925C” - A 100% cotton sports weight yarn - made in the U.S.A. by Pisgah Yarn and Dyeing Company, www.peaches-creme.com

using a U.S. size F crochet hook.
   A carriage cover that is crocheted in a square. Start in one corner and increase every row until the desired width is achieved, then decrease every row to the last corner. Finish it with a single crochet edging and ‘Crochet Squared’. The multi-color yarn makes it look like a pattern was planned, but it would be wonderful in a solid color.

   The Carriage Cover-Baby Blanket is made in 3” motifs that are crocheted together as you go and finished with a lovely shell stitch edging.

   This pattern is not for the ‘faint of heart’ as it requires considerable crochet skill. But, well worth the effort. Such a precious gift for the Newborn in your family, it is destined to become an heirloom.
