Here is a pattern for a quick and easy scarf just perfect for crocheting up quickly when autumn winds start to blow. Crochet a scarf of fluttering fans in your desired length and finish with a small edging all around. The pattern is easy enough for a novice with just a little bit of crochet experience, so you can stitch up one for a friend or family member also.

Size: Adult woman - one size fits most. Approximately 5" wide and 72" in length.
Skill level: Novice with just a little bit of crochet experience.
Materials: Simply DK (a DK weight or size 3 yarn) from Paintbox Yarns and available at Love Crafts. Since gauge is not crucial for this design and you want to choose a different yarn, you will need approximately 600 yards of almost any DK weight yarn.
Tools: U.S. size H crochet hook.
