Granny Square Clutch Bag

A crochet pattern for a Granny Square Clutch Bag. A vintage inspired bag with an up-to-date fashion look. 

Start with six granny square motifs that are joined together to form a ring. Crochet around the top of the ring for a few rounds and then create an opening for the handles. Crochet around the bottom of the ring and continue the body of the bag in the granny stitch pattern. Crochet the base and attach it to bag. Attach a crocheted button and your clutch bag is complete.

Size: Approximately 22" around (measured below the granny squares) and 8" in depth. 

Skill level: Intermediate.

Materials: Basic Stitch Premium (a size 4 or worsted weight yarn) from Lion Brand Yarns.

Tools: U.S. sizes G and H crochet hooks.
