A crochet pattern for a Lacy Keyhole Scarf from Nancy Brown-Designer. A scarf crocheted in openwork shells.
Create a winter fashion statement in a quick and easy lace design with a chunky yarn. Starting at the back of the neck, the scarf is crocheted lengthwise until one half of the scarf is worked to the desired length. Then work the second half of the scarf from the back neck as for the first half creating a keyhole opening for comfortable wearing.
In a hurry, or have a time crunch? This is a quick and easy pattern that is stitched up in a wonderful chunky weight yarn using a larger crochet hook.
Size: Adult woman, one size fits most. Approximately 5 1/2" wide and 48 1/2" in length.
Skill level: Intermediate.
Materials: Scarfie (a chunky weight or size 5 yarn) from Lion Brand Yarns. Gauge is not crucial for this design and if you want to choose a diffrent yarn, you will need approximately 300 yards of almost any chunky weight yarn.
Tools: U.S. size J crochet hook.
Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.
