Popcorn Pocket Scarf with Hood - PA-315

A crochet pattern for a Popcorn Pocket Scarf with Hood from Nancy Brown-Designer. A pattern for fashionable winter accessory.

Create a warm and wonderful scarf in a simple design of double crochet boxes. Boxes of popcorn stitches are used for the pockets and hood to give the scarf a unique handcrafted look. So simple to make, just crochet the scarf, the pockets and hood. Then join the pockets and hood as you add the edging.

Size: Adult woman - one size fits most. Scarf - approximately 7 1/2" wide and 64" in length. Hood - approximately 18" wide and 9 1/2" in depth.

Skill level: Intermediate.

Materials: Perfection DK (a DK or light worsted weight yarn) from Kraemer Yarns.

Please note that this yarn has been discontinued by the manufacturer, but you can use almost any DK weight or size 3 yarn that will produce a gauge of 7 sts and 3 rows equals 1 1/2" in double crochet. Approximately 900 yards should complete this lovely scarf.

Tools: U.S. size G crochet hook.

Please note: Instructions come in an easy to read, easy to understand pattern and are written in U.S. crochet terminology.
